I haven't seen this question posted here yet.:D

If you already had your "for real" guns are squared away and now you were simply collecting to collect, what pistol would you buy for each of these calibers: .22lr, .380, .38spl, 9mm, .40, .357sig, .357mag, 10mm, .45, and whatever other caliber you want to throw in there?

Choices

17 Hornaday Volquartzen Cheetah--- 22lr Beretta 87 Target---- 22 mag Freedom Arms Model 97 SA revolver---- 380 don't need it or want it--- 9mm not interested--- 38/357 S&W K frame--- 357 Sig not interested---- 40 S&W Kahr PM40--- 45 acp G30, any good long slide 1911 (too many choices)--- 10mm S&W 610 revolver--- 454 Casull Freedom Arms Model 83

Money's no object I take it?

22LR- High Standard Olypic ISU. Got to play with one for a few minutes once and fell in love.

.380- Sphinx AT380. Had one once, let it go, still kicking myself.

.38sp- Colt Diamondback 6 inch barrel of course.

9mm- Don't care much for the calibre, but who could say no to a nice warm Luger? I would prefer a 1914 Artillery, but I'm not picky.

.40- I've always wanted a service type pistrol, so how about a Baretta 96

.357Sig- Poor little orphan cartridge. Not alot to choose from, but those Steyr M's are kinda cute.

.357 Mag- I know it sounds strange, but I've always wanted a Rossi 988 Cyclops. Had one sold right out from under me, now I'm waiting for the next one. But I probably wouldn't turn my nose up at a Korth is one happened by.

10mm- Gotta be a wheel gun, S&W 610 is about the only game in town, too bad the one I looked at had more tool marks than a highschool shop project.

45acp- HK 23 please and I'd like that with a can on the business end.
