Yesterday I was in Prescott Arizona delivering our offices’ stock of 68 Mini-14 rifles to a wholesale buyer who bought our trade-ins. (We just upgraded to Colt Enhanced Patrol Rifles with the Magpul furniture. Much better!)

I saw this sign on a store on Hwy 89 as I was leaving town. I just had to snap a picture while I was stopped at the light.

Other than “Bear Arms,” which is a closed gun store up in Yucca Valley, and “Annie’s Get Your Gun,” which changed names after it was sold to someone else in Corona, Ca., none of the LGS in my area have any fun or amusing names or slogans on their signs.

Are there any out there that do have a sense of patriotism or humor in their slogan or names?

Stay safe.

I don't recall that exact wording, but one store had a sign something like:

"Please keeps guns holstered, if you need to remove from holster, please be accurate."

An army surplus store had one something like:

"Please unload guns and remove ski masks before entering".

That's the store in Merrimack NH ... this is the door. It's gone viral.

A shop I used to love is now closed. Country Boy store was kind of in the middle of nowhere. It was a few old Quonset huts full of beat to hell surplus (and often creatively acquired but not surplus) military goods. The sign was pretty simple, a couple big cedar posts with a cedar crossbar with a plywood sign. If I remember right the sign hung from the m16 oversized training rifle that hung from the crossbar. Was a great place to go. Never bought much there but also never left empty handed.

Store closed after a robbery. Robber slapped the owned in the noggin with a hatchet if I remember right.

Not an exact picture, but it is the same sign on my local gun shop. They have a *caveat* sign beneath it for only holstered firearms. Inside they have a 5 gallon bucket of everything that has come out of "unloaded" firearms to be sold or worked on.
