Whereas I like revolvers in general - with exceptions - Smith & Wesson revolvers have the overall best production results and certainly the best double action trigger pull functions of the lot.
I think I like K frames best, but I do like the calibers in the N frames; and I do like the five shot Chief Special for those 'intimate' moments where utmost discretion is required.
A rather close second is the - sadly gone - 'Six' series of Ruger past.

I do enjoy some use of clones of the Model P Colt. The Ruger line of single actions are very usable. I just don't have much use for those calibers much anymore.
And yes, I have a soft spot for the big Webleys.

I don't know if "favorite" applies...but I've always wanted a 6-shot, 4-inch Sp101 in .327 Magnum. I really like the 327 even though it's rare. And it can take 32 h&r, 32 long and 32 short as well... And possibly even 32 ACP. That's ALOT of ammo choices. The longer cartridges bring you almost up to 357 levels, and definitely matches and possibly even supersedes 38 special when using 32 h&r.

For CAS I shoot a pair of Uberti Remington 75's in 44-40 or a pair of Colt SAA's in same caliber. For hunting it's one of 7 Ruger Blackhawks, whichever the mood strike that day. For fun plinking it's a mix of any of the above, but if I HAD to pick a favorite, Ruger Flattop 45 Colt 5.5".

My favorites are S&W N frames and Dan Wesson 15-2's/715's. I like L framed S&W and the big DW 44 too. Not crazy about most others

I have to say Smith and Wesson for the manufacturer.
L frame for shooting my 686+ is my favorite. J frame for carry, 442 is so nice to carry :D

Ruger. I worked the triggers and replaced the springs. S&W fans are always surprised how nice the triggers are. Small, medium and large. Can take all rounds without any ill effects.
I do know how nice are (were?) the double action function of the Ruger 'six' series. In the late 1970s some forward thinking gunsmiths were building PPC (old law enforcement revolver match) guns from those revolvers. They were a close match (better, depending on shooter) for the S&W revolvers.
Just to say I agree with you and I haven't been surprised in just over 40 years.
I've never had a GP100. I'm still mad about the sixes.

Ruger Super Redhawk frame - preferably with a Bowen GP44 nose job. So much opportunity for so much horsepower, all wedged into a frame which is still serviceable as a belt gun. My favorites are 475 Linebaugh, and an upcoming 357/44 Bain & Davis (Gen 2 of my B&D Redhawk).

Who is doing your B&D cylinder? I’ve had a handi-rifle and a T/C barrel reamed out to B&D. The original store did my T/C barrel years ago. That darn thing was a laser with 180gr Hornady FP bullets.

I had B&D ream two ‘80s vintage 6 shot Redhawk cylinders before they went out of business, one of which I’m transplanting into an SRH frame to get access to the better lockwork, better grips, better optic mount, and opportunity for easier build of a longer barrel.

I also just talked my PRS rifle builder into doing a Marlin 1894 barrel for me as well, so I’m working now on making sure I can get 357/44’s to feed with the 180 HotCors. Trying to decide if I want it to be 12”, or 20”… so I did buy a reamer, might take a lot more begging to have him do another cylinder though, lol. I WOULD really love to see what I could do with a 5 shot cylinder, however, but I’m pretty certain my riflesmith won’t ever make me a cylinder - not sure who I will be able to get to cut that for me…

But I love the round - I can get these monsters up over 1900fps from a 7.5” Redhawk. In a rifle, I expect I can get to parity with 30-30, albeit a lower sectional density bullet. With drawn 180 HotCors, I can pick up about 150-200fps with LOWER pressure than I observe with the Hornady 180 XTP’s. My objective with this revolver when it started was to finally have a revolver capable of 250yrd deer hunting WITHOUT ridiculous size and weight - a pursuit I’ve been chasing for around 20yrs, through a dozen or so other cartridges and revolver models.

Don't really have a singular "favorite" but more a general group of favorites. That would be single action revolvers with a Colt-style action. Including Old Model Rugers, Colt SAA's and replicas, Colt percussion and cartridge conversion sixguns and replicas. The Old Model Ruger .357 sized frame, Colt SAA and 1860 probably rank highest.

I have the NEW HOTS for the new Colt DA revolvers Theres no denying - they are just plain sweet.

I love the round as well. The closest I get now is a Gary Reeder T/C barrel in his 356GNR (41 magnum necked to 357). It’s better than a 357 MAX.

Double actions- K frame Smith's, currently have a 32-20, and .38 both 5 screws.
Also love my 4.25 in. Sp101 in .327.

Single action- New Vaquero in .45. Cant afford to sniff a Colt, so I havent been able to compare, but trying to save up for one in 38/40.
