Your favorite targets to shoot.

My club has spinning targets that the round plates on the end that fall off when shot. They also have targets that have a rope you can pull to reset them.

Clay Pigeons, the orange kind.
For rifles at the 100 yerd mark. Shooting them while standing unsupported.
I have even hit them with a 1911 at that distance took three shots to do it.:D

Here's what I do. I took a 5' 2x4 and screwed 5 hooks in it. Take 5 bowling pins and screw eyebolts in the top. Put the 2x4 on 3' stands, (also made out of 2x4's) and hang the bowling pins. This way they swing when you hit them and you don't have to pick them up.

Clays and Potatoes

Potatoes make for some cheap and fun reactive targets. It really doesn't matter what you shoot them with.

Ducks and geese. Also clays, fruit, beer cans.... whatever. Usually at the range though, its either clays placed on the berms or shoot-n-see paper targets

I like to use those cheap lollipops you can get at Costco. They're bright, small enough to be challenging, biodegradable, reactive, and each one come with its own target stand.

Here's my plug for the "Click and Shoot" CD. It has over 1000 targets on it. I have found that 110 weight card stock leaves good, crisp holes when target shooting. Not quite Tannerite, but cheap

My favorites are shoot-n-see, (I cant see (naked eye) much past 50yds.) bowling pins, ballons, and anything else reactive.
