Your favorite to reload

I like to reload. I reload every center-fire caliber I shoot.

The best part, is the experimentation. Finding that perfect load, but still looking for another. Using .30 Carbine bullets in .30-30 or .30-06. .357MAG with 92gr bullets. Funnest project, .444 Marlin brass loaded to .410 shotgun SxS for grandson to Cowboy Action Shoot.
I made everlasting 410 shells for my 45/410 Contender years ago from 444 cases. Also, full length shot shells for my Super Blackhawk by trimming and filing flats on the rims.

I enjoy handloading all of 'em, otherwise , I wouldn't do it. I think it was BBarn that mentioned about possibly double or triple charging a .45 Colt case with certain powders. That is why its a good practice to check them carefully with very good lighting. I like them all.

10mm is one of my favorites.
Lots of .40 caliber bullet options available due to the huge (and now in decline) popularity of the 40 s&w.
It's a straight walled cartridge that isn't too fussy. Good bang-for-buck in reloading.
There are huge advantages in reloading for this cartridge vs. buying only factory ammo....cost savings is only the tip of the iceberg.

Cowboy Action doesn't allow electors. Run the .444 through walnut hulls and car polish. Makes them really slick and they fall out of the SxS.

May have to trim some to SBH cylinder and go skeet shooting. That should attract some attention.

.308 Winchester because I reload this the old fashion way with a trickler and beam scale. It's more relaxing than cranking out pistol rounds on my Dillon 550.

I really like to load .45colt. It is so big and forgiving.

My favorite, however, is shotgun shells. I like the perfect crimp on a well-worn blackened hull. A single pellet resting perfectly peeking from the center of the crimp.
I like crafting the 28ga and .410 bore on my 600jr mecs.
Loading hundreds of 12ga for clay games can be monotonous even with my 650 progressive.....but still satisfying.

Mine is 30 Carbine for either rifle or the Ruger Blackhawk and the 38 Spl. and 9mm. They are so easy and large enough for my large fat fingers.

Anything that accepts Hodgdon H-110 is a good time, ain't it? 30 carbine among the few

Any pistol round, I really do not enjoy using case lube, case trimmers, deburring tools, primer pocket swaging that comes with rifle rounds.

My Favorite things to reload is 10MM, .223/5.56, #00B, #4 Buck, Slugs. Can't wait to reload 44 Magnum soon. Getting components now. But I love reloading anything in general.
