Ok, I know threads like these get thrown around about once every 2 seconds.

I don't care.

Anyhow, what are the next to firearms you are going to purchase? Don't list accessories or ammo or any of that crap. What two FIREARMS are you going to purchase next?

Me:
MN M39
CZ52

Ok, now it's your turn.

I have enough firearms already, so I'm not contemplating any purchases.

Don't hold me to that, though. :)

I'm in a situation where I dont have the "want" to go out and buy another firearm, but yet there are a few that I am completely wanting. If that makes any sense.

1) Glock 23. I want a polymer pistol to fill my niche. I want a .40 S&W niche to fill. And when I do finally apply for CCW in California ( Hey it is worth a try!) I've realized that the Glock is the Perfect CCW weapon. I gotta admit, I've been visiting GlockTalk a lot and drooling over GLOCKS! :what:

2) Remington PSS. I want a Target/Precision rifle to shoot. I dont have one yet so this would be a great opportunity.

Hmm... I have the money to buy these, yet I dont really have the urge to get em'.... The Glock, well I dont really need it quite yet, I cant carry currently, my Government serves HD role, so theres really no need for it.

The Remington PSS. Well.. the Rifle range is far from here... so I dunno how much I'd actually use it.

But if I was gonna go buy 2 guns, these two would be it.

Marlin model 60, and another Mossberg 500 (but with a rifled barrel so I have dedicated slug/shot platforms)

I had no intentions of buying a single gun this year. I think I bought 5 :uhoh: and that doesn't include the First Model Brown Bess. Why Bess? Well, it's got a nice long pig sticker on it and now I can practice my Stand by to repel borders (or is it boarders since I'm in a house?) drill. :p

Hmmmm ...

A NEW Savage/Stevens Favorite. I want the new take-down version, and I'll mount a tang sight on it.

A Lefavre double -- preferrably a 10 gauge with damascus barrels. I'll put in gage-mate inserts and shoot 12 guage shells in it.

For me, the "right" answer is no more guns. Just BA/UU/R.

However, with my back jacked up, I can barely stand for 30 minutes. Shooting is just not fun right now. I can only gain solice by buying more guns, more accessories for my guns, and more ammo...

Hmmmm tough decision....

22lr lever action either Winchcester, Marlin or Henry
44 magnum Lever action from Marlin
44 magnum, Ruger or S&W
S&W model 640? the 357mag bodyguard with concealed hammer
Another SMLE for the collection
Some sort of Mauser to follow the crowd
Webley Mk IV, V or VI in original .455
Enfield revolver in 38 S&W because they are cheap
M1A
AK clone

Now if I can just line up the wallet with the opportunity etc etc...... is there and astrologer in the house?

Hmmm...just blew alot of money on the Kimber, so I'll have to wait awhile. A few things that stick in the back of the mind, though:

Russian Makarov
CZ P-01
Springfield XD in .357

Well, I finally have the money, so I'm going to pick up a Garand.....have wanted one since I was a little kid, listening to my grandfather's stories about the war.

After that, I'm not sure, but perhaps an Enfield.

Two left hand bolt rifles. One in .308 and the other in .375 H&H. Why....because they are there. And besides....they'll complete my collection and will be the last two I'll ever need....hahahahahahha.

I am going to buy a P99C 9mm and an Ar-15 upper when I decide which one I want. I do want a Robinson XCR, but those aren't out yet and no price has been set as far as I know.

Let's see, next two?

Kind of hard sometimes, those spontaneous C&R purchases seem to get in the way every time.

No particular order:

- Underfolding AK (7.62x39) - I need to get an "extremely tactical" carbine, and I like .30 cal better than .22. This fitted with an aimpoint on an ultimak rail, and a plastic forward grip.

- Schmidt Rubin K.31 - It seems as if I'm the only one who doesn't have one of these yet

and of course, if I come upon a huge pile of money, a Springfield M1A

a Mint M1 carbine that has historical provenance that places it at Normandy on DDay. ( The issue rifle of some one that did aerial recon that fateful day)

a Match grade M1 Garand.

This puts my at about 40 guns. I have to stop. I have to stop... Oh God I have to stop!!

I am steadily drawn more and more toward a SIG - I think Furious Styles may have put the cap on that when I was looking at his ... tho I forget all model #'s right now. I shall bill him accordingly! :D

Hmmm .. you did say next 2 ... well I do have two longarms ''on the list'' so afraid I am stretching this to three! I am hoping one day to see the MkIV Enfield in .308, thru the Andrew Wyatt group buy - it's a long time coming tho. The other is going to become a 'must have' I think ... a rifle in .17 HMR - probably a Ruger 77.
