15 I haven't read the book and probably won't knowing the tragic fate of the DS.

Yes I know Colt made the magnum carry. They also made Detectives, Cobras, Agents, the SF-VI and the DS-II. I own and shoot them all. I also am a fan of those neat S&W snubbies in 44 Special
