Yugo SKS Question

I have one of the Yugo SKS with the grenade launcher on it. I purchased a muzzle brake to replace it. First I removed the pin from the launcher and following other instructions I attempted at removing the original by using a rather large pipe wrench turning counter clock wise (right hand thread). It would not budge, so break out the propane torch and started heating and then applied the over size pipe wrench but still will not budge. Any idea's as to what to do other than taking a cutoff wheel to the darn thing???

It's been awhile since I removed the spigot from my Yugo, but if I remember correctly they are left hand threads on the muzzle.
Another thing to try is Kroil; pour a little at the base of the launcher and let it sit over night, should break loose after that.

If you remove the grenade launcher, you will need to play the 922(r) ten-imported-parts-or-less game.

The threads are right-hand 14x1 metric.
