I'm new to THR and had a few questions about the Yugo sks and Tapco t6 stock. This is my first rifle and not knowing a whole lot about choosing accesories, I kinda went crazy getting stuff. Does anyone have any experience mounting a 50mm scope on a T6 stock with a choate scope mount?? is this even possible, or will there be interference with the scope and the handguard??

Welcome to THR. There are a few problems with your setup.

1) The Yugos were imported as C&R guns. You cannot replace the original stock with the Tapco T6 without also having to remove the grenade launcher, bayonet, and night sights. Either that, or you must play the 10 parts game under 922(r) to make it a "sporting" gun.

2) The SKS ejects more or less straight up. Ejected cases will tear up the bell of the scope unless you have a shell deflector on there.

Oh, and this probably belongs in the Rifle Country forum :)

"...kinda went crazy getting stuff..." Hi. Lots of new guys do that. An SKS is a carbine that was designed to be a stop gap rifle issued to illiterate conscripts. Scoping a carbine, of any kind, is a waste of money. Buggers the balance and won't make it shoot any better. Scoping any rifle that doesn't shoot well with iron sights doesn't help.

Actually I thought it was remove the above And less than 10...

Basic is that it's a pain, and you will end up replacing a bunch of stuff that does little
Buy a Siaga and convert it or just buy a US made AK with the stuff you want already, simpler and actually not much more expensive.

I find that my SKS actually is as good or better stock than many that people have dicked with, only thing I did was work on the trigger, BTW, READ ALOT AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING before you even consider messing with that trigger, it isn't complicated once you figure it out.
