Hey guys,
I have this rifle that is an all matching k98. It was either captured during the war or bought post war. The receiver has been scrubbed and the preduzece 44 restamp. This is not an m48. What perplexes me is it has a claw-type mounting system similar to the low turret bases and a scope with integral mounts. I have checked all the repro mounts and these match none. It’s my understanding this is an earlier Yugo rework, and things weren’t “standardized” as well in the Bosnian war, there was no real standard to rifle models. I will post photos, any help is appreciated. The truth matters of course, and I understand it May be bubba.
