Hello
I'm looking for any help related to a mini Mauser magazine follower spring. My rifle, chambered in 762x39, is feeding rounds too high so they jam between the bolt and in the barrel above the feed ramp. I am also experiencing the last round nose diving into the magazine, below the feed ramp. Ya too extremes. I have gently stretched the spring to correct to last round nose diving ( for now). I have also cleaned up the magazine follower. There were a lot of rough spots. The spring itself is very weak. I would like a stronger spring. I would not care if I lost a round of capacity. I just want my rifle to work. Any advise on how to fix this would be great. I don't think century will be much help and parts built specifically for this gun are few and far between. Or parts for any of the variants; rem 799, interarms, ect. Are there any followers and/or magazine springs from a more mass produced rifle that could be modified to fit? I read a Remington 700 223 spring may work but would need to be modified to fit. Any one have experience with this.
