I replace a round after it has been re-chambered twice. I carry Speer Gold Dot and have never had a problem with bullet setback. But it's better to be safe then sorry.Do you eject the chambered round? If so, do you rechamber that round?
I ask because of concerns about bullet setback for rounds that get chambered again.
Every couple months I'll do a field strip and wipe and lube. And it gets shot usually a few times a month.
Never had an issue.
YOU FAILED TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEAPON SON
Loved this Movie "Harry Brown" the Old, Ex British Marine that gets caught in the middle of a bunch of dirt bag gangs. His best friend is killed, and he takes revenge. This scene is powerful. The scum bag was about to kill Harry and his gun jammed.
Personally, I am OCD about my guns. I clean the always upon arriving home from the range. And I am miticulous cleaning them. The idea of carrying a EDC gun that is not perfect, drives me crazy. The stuff for nightmares. Warning Graphic
if you carry an auto for EDC how often do you unload and clean it? I had a pair of FTE when shooting my carry gun with my carry ammo this week and I have a suspicion that dust bunnies might have contributed to multiple failures of what has always been a reliable pistol.
