Well, my range is right out back so it's not much of an "escape"...Darn. I hate when I have to go to the range instead...

I think that you will like the Larue trigger.
I do.
Cold, damp air and wet muddy ground here but I did run a quick 10 rounds with the new trigger and it is Very nice.
If I get a little "ahead" cash wise I'd like to try a single stage version in the SW carbine.

If/when I get the ALG maybe I'll put it in the SW carbine ? Bound to be better than the factory mil-spec one that's in it now...congrats! When you do receive your ALG, it will not be the Larue. The ALG is great compared to mil spec and a solid trigger, but not in the same league as the Larue or Giselle...
The ALG trigger set came in Monday and I ended up putting it in the "Franken-4-gery" instead of the S+W carbine. Need to test it but the range is so soggy it'll have to wait a bit. It dry fires nice tho...If/when I get the ALG maybe I'll put it in the SW carbine ? Bound to be better than the factory mil-spec one that's in it now...

Course, now I have two stock trigger sets sitting around...

Don’t listen to @ECVMatt !
Throw those away! Quick!
Before you know it there will be two more ARs to feed.
(That, and you got rid of them for a reason. If you come across another rifle, would you want to put those triggers in it?)
Well, I doubt if I'll throw them away but yeah, I replaced them for a reason and I'm not sure if they can be rehabilitated..?
Yesterday the wife and I were out back shooting a couple of the AR's and I got to thinking about the trigger on my PSA A-2(ish) that I put together last year. It has the stock trigger and, with the scope on it now, I really notice the trigger pull. And not in a good way...
So, I know there are options but was wondering what the best limited budget trigger upgrade would be for this? Mostly I'll be using it for precision plinking and some hunting.
Recommendations/options and opinions appreciated.
The MBT-2S triggers are the MBT-1S are not.The Larue triggers are definitely worth the $80
