AR trigger upgrade..?

I do. :)
Cold, damp air and wet muddy ground here but I did run a quick 10 rounds with the new trigger and it is Very nice.
If I get a little "ahead" cash wise I'd like to try a single stage version in the SW carbine.

congrats! When you do receive your ALG, it will not be the Larue. The ALG is great compared to mil spec and a solid trigger, but not in the same league as the Larue or Giselle...

If/when I get the ALG maybe I'll put it in the SW carbine ? Bound to be better than the factory mil-spec one that's in it now...
The ALG trigger set came in Monday and I ended up putting it in the "Franken-4-gery" instead of the S+W carbine. Need to test it but the range is so soggy it'll have to wait a bit. It dry fires nice tho...
Course, now I have two stock trigger sets sitting around...o_O

It is always good to have a couple of spares! I would oil them up to prevent rust and put them some place safe for a rainy day.

Don’t listen to @ECVMatt !

Throw those away! Quick!

Before you know it there will be two more ARs to feed.:D

(That, and you got rid of them for a reason. If you come across another rifle, would you want to put those triggers in it?:))

Well, I doubt if I'll throw them away but yeah, I replaced them for a reason and I'm not sure if they can be rehabilitated..? o_O

Yesterday the wife and I were out back shooting a couple of the AR's and I got to thinking about the trigger on my PSA A-2(ish) that I put together last year. It has the stock trigger and, with the scope on it now, I really notice the trigger pull. And not in a good way... o_O
So, I know there are options but was wondering what the best limited budget trigger upgrade would be for this? Mostly I'll be using it for precision plinking and some hunting.
Recommendations/options and opinions appreciated.

Rock River Arms Two-Stage Match Trigger- 4.5lb pull or...
Rock River Arms Two-Stage Varmint Match Trigger - 3.5lb

Both are under $100 and excellent. The caveat, they are not drop in triggers. But not hard at all to install.

Someday when my time comes there will be parts and pieces to sort out on a magnitude only a “gun guy” could work his head around. While my label maker ought to be getting more of a workout at least I try to keep parts sorted by firearm type.

Plano trays help and I revisit mine for nearly every AR I assemble. These aren’t just take-off parts but also spares of what I prefer for future builds purchased when the price was right.

I tried that years ago. I put the parts containers is the same safe that I had stripped lowers in. They magically produce full AR's on their own. You must keep all small parts, lowers, and barrels stored separately and under lock and key to prevent this.

The Larue triggers are definitely worth the $80
The MBT-2S triggers are the MBT-1S are not.
I have the 2S triggers on a couple rifles and have installed them on guns for others. They are excellent IMO.
Recently Larue had a sale, $70 per trigger for 5 triggers. I ordered 5 for myself and a friend, decided to get three 1S and two of the 2S.
I just installed a 1S on a 10.5 inch .223 pistol build. Lousy trigger, heavy, gritty with lots of creep.I have several triggers from budget AR's in a parts box that are just as good.
