Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

Man the sellers at gun shows crack me up. I've seen them selling one thing by the entrance for $20 and $7.95 for the exact same thing in the back corner. You definitely need to hunt around. When I make the next Will Rogers show here in Ft. Worth I will post what I find. I've just gotten into reloading about 6 months ago, so I never really paid much attention to reloading supplies there in the past. Nor would I have known a "good" deal if it had slapped me in the face. Better luck next time on a big score Topruddrr. Thanks for the info though.

IMHO you got a GREAT deal!!:D:D

Around here even the LGS's charge $25.99/lb to $28.99/lb PLUS TAX for most every 1lb container of pistol powder known to reloaders.:uhoh:

At LGS primers go for $30/brick regular and $33/brick magnum PLUS TAX, close to what you paid.

At the prices you quoted ".....Titewad for $18, and primers for $30. Those prices INCLUDED tax...." the powder venders at local show would have sold everything they had in the first 1-2 hours:what:

Therefore my comment : "I'm really glad THR has the "Where are the reloading components for sale" thread, I've gotten great deals there if I'm fast enough:D

I may have to buy 3-4lbs of powder and 2-3 bricks primers to spread out hazmat fee, but even with hazmat and shipping, I can STILL beat the local prices by $3-$5 dollars per item!

I understand LGS needs to cover their hazmat and shipping, and make a profit, but $8-$12/pound more than I can get from online vendors?

So again, THANK YOU to all THR members that take the time to give a heads up on Where are there reloading components for sale?:D:D:D

Yes, BIG thanks to all those who dutifully kept close eye on "in stock" items and posted to share with other THR members/guests.

There are more and more sightings of popular powders in stock ... indication that things are getting better. Woohoo!

Can't wait for this thread to transition from "Where are there reloading components ..." to "Where are there cheapest reloading components ..." :D

Well, the show in ND had only 2 powder vendors, the show in NC had probably 8 - 10 people selling powder. Granted, some of them were very small, but at least there is competition. The buttheads from "Reloading Unlimited" out of TN were not there this time, they are the ones that mark things up to outrageous prices, Like $300 for a 8lb jug of Bullseye. At the last show, I had one vendor (with the lowest prices) tell me that the guy from RU approached him at one show and wanted to buy out his whole powder inventory at his asking prices. He didn't sell to him. I will search this guy out at every show and buy something from him! I did not buy much, but I did get Titewad for $18, and primers for $30. Those prices INCLUDED tax.

One vendor at Raleigh had a lot of powder, including Unique and Bullseye. He did not have prices marked on anything. I asked the price of BE, and he said "$35". I said "no thanks". I was a little mad but tried not to show it. I just went down the line of powder asking the prices, and each time I emphatically said "no thanks". For the powders that other vendors had, his prices were better but still too high, like Titegroup for $30. I hope he got the message.

i dont know what the deal is with the vendors, i go to charlotte more than raleigh but its pretty much the same vendors. the december charlotte show had some decent prices. most 1lb jugs were $20-$25. blue collar is a guy and girl outta mooresville nc and theyre usually the cheapest.in december they had BE-86 for $20 and as stated, reloading unlimited must be drinkin too much TN shine. i have bought from them in the past when they were starting out but i last time was raliegh last spring and i had reserved some stuff via email as it was tighter then and when i got my total i realized they had went up unreal on their prices. i can buy online in bulk with shipping and hazmat and still beat their prices, plus save gas money and entry fee.
i cant drive to raleigh anymore and justify prices with my gas bill included.i guess some vendors dont realize the supply/demand is easing up and still charge like powder cant be found.

The powder/primer guy didn't even come to the gun show here this weekend. He has been hit and miss for awhile now, and when he has been here he hasn't had much. I was hoping for that to change this weekend.

Yeah, Blue Collar Reloading is the price leader at the gun shows right now, and usually has decent inventory. I will seek him out whenever possible. Another vendor I like to deal with is Cover Six Tactical out of Clayton. Not the best prices but still reasonable. I believe these guys are the ones providing the competition that is driving the prices down, and might be the reason Reloading Unlimited didn't even show up this time.

you might be right bout RU not even showing up for the competition. maybe theyll get the message, they aint bad guys but money is money.i'll see if they show up in feb at charlotte. cover six are good folks too. i got on thier mailing list and back in dec they had W231 but they dont ship(but they will hold somethin for ya till the next show.) so i looked who else had it. i got my 8lb jug before they were gone in one hour from recobs. i am loyal to a few venders. cover six and a guy outta denton nc has the best primer prices(and never gouge) so i always get a brick or two from each. macs from va beach is my oddball bullet guy and he's cool to talk to. blue collar doesnt have a store but will meet you in mooresville. bout 30 min from me so i like having not to wait til the shows. i wish cover six was close but im 2 hrs from raleigh and claytons on further.

N320, N330, N340, and 3N37 all work well in 9MM. What power level do you want?

I really like N340 for standard power 9MM, but I use N320 for my informal target/plinking load.

I bought 4 pounds of N340 the last time it showed up. It is a very versatile burn speed.

Im a middle of the road kind of guy..I've yet to break, erg, break out my Chrono, but I'd think I primarily load just a notch under what the SD rounds give you.

N330 is great in 9MM at just under max, but is not nearly as versatile as N320 or N340 overall (All calibers), IMO.

C2 shooting venter in Virginia beach had dozen 1lb cans of BE-86 on top of a myriad of rifle powders. also 8lb of american select, 8lb of cfe 223 and quite a bit of titewad

CANCELED: January 24 & 25, Bell County Expo Center (Belton) - The Real Texas Gun Show . The promoter, Aubrey Sanders has refused to offer me tables due to the fact his buddy, Robert, from ' Bubba's Outdoor Shooting Supplies ' tried to buy all my H110 that I had available for our local/loyal customers for under $27/bottle.. I refused to sell this product to Bubba, just so that he could put it on his table for $40. I explained the fact that I paid to advertise this product specifically, so as to draw more of our loyal customers to the show for this hard to find product. My reasons had no effect, apparently. As a consequence, the show promoter, Aubrey Sanders Jr has refused to allow me to purchase tables at his Belton Show. I'm asking our loyal customers to send Aubrey an email regarding this topic and how you are displeased with his decision.

Here is their email [email protected]

It just goes to show that there are people cornering the market on materials and then jacking up prices.

There was a case of that happening locally, where one vendor notorious for high prices, tried to buy the inventory of the lowest price vendor before the doors opened.

Frankford Arsenal tumbler

This guy on Amazon has had these a few times before, they are back and I just scored one. Frankford Arsenal tumbler w/media $159.99 free shipping.
Others on there have them at the usual 180-220 price range, this guy has the best price I've seen.
