Bass pro has a nice selection online today. H335, 4064, 3031, 4320, H380, H322, Benchmark, 7828, 4831, H414, and a couple others.

Avoid the hazmat and have it shipped to store!

Wow L.J. it sures nice for you to help if I needed it I would probably would pay? thats is total GOUGE! But as I understand I have 3 different powder measures filled w/it! For 380 SDB ,10X redding, and 3br. go figure! Paid 30+ for last T.G. 1 lbr's.

I bit the bullet and purchased some 231 from Brunos as I needed the powder :(

Going to my local Big5 (Placerville, CA) to pick up pistol / rifle primers later this morning.

This is a great thread!

Could be worse. Some guy at the last few gun shows is selling bullseye for $40 a pound. I've heard that he approached another vendor wanting to buy out all their powder since they were less than $25 for most powders. :fire:

Gotta do whatcha gotta do. Welcome to the forum Mmesa.

Gun show in Raleigh NC had lots of pistol powders. Plenty of Titegroup and BE86 for as low as $22 per lb. 700x, Silhouette, Longshot, CFE Pistol, Red Dot, etc. I even saw HP38 and Win 231. The 231 was in 8# jug for $205. I picked up a couple powders to try, Titewad and Nitro 100 NF. Titewad was $18. I found Bullseye and Unique, but they were > $35 so I passed.

I also picked up primers for $30 including tax.

Things are getting better.

Gun Show

Went to local gun show today.
Cheapest .22 LR $10.99/100 rounds, most expensive? 250 "VALUE PACK" $35:scrutiny:
The "powder guys" (2 of them, different booths) must have had breakfast together.
Cheapest powder on their tables (none under/behind tables) was $36/lb:barf: (not VV powder either), no 4 or 8 pounders, (except 50 bmg powder) all brands of powder in both booths were the exact same price!
Only good thing I noticed, after the 2 hours I was there, they seemed to have all their powder still on display.:D :D
All used guns (that I looked at) were a wapping $50 to $75 less than current model price, the new guns were at or above full msrp.
It's what happens when you live only 150 miles away from "oil boom country"
Only thing I picked up was a brick of 1000 Winchester small pistol magnum primers. $28/1000, just the one brick left. If you include entry fee ($5) I got them for $2 less than LGS.
Powder guys primers, std primers $35/brick, magnum primers $38/brick.
Same sellers talking to the same regulars, hard to get sellers attention unless no-one else talking to them, time to realize no deals to be had at the local gun show.
End of rant:D
I'm really glad THR has the "Where are the reloading components" thread, I've gotten great deals there if I'm fast enough:D

See 2 conflicting post on gun shows here. Hmmm. Guess I better get out to one again. Anybody had luck at the will Rogers in ft. Worth for good reloading deals

Well, the show in ND had only 2 powder vendors, the show in NC had probably 8 - 10 people selling powder. Granted, some of them were very small, but at least there is competition. The buttheads from "Reloading Unlimited" out of TN were not there this time, they are the ones that mark things up to outrageous prices, Like $300 for a 8lb jug of Bullseye. At the last show, I had one vendor (with the lowest prices) tell me that the guy from RU approached him at one show and wanted to buy out his whole powder inventory at his asking prices. He didn't sell to him. I will search this guy out at every show and buy something from him! I did not buy much, but I did get Titewad for $18, and primers for $30. Those prices INCLUDED tax.

One vendor at Raleigh had a lot of powder, including Unique and Bullseye. He did not have prices marked on anything. I asked the price of BE, and he said "$35". I said "no thanks". I was a little mad but tried not to show it. I just went down the line of powder asking the prices, and each time I emphatically said "no thanks". For the powders that other vendors had, his prices were better but still too high, like Titegroup for $30. I hope he got the message.
