The aftermarket for the Scorpion is is pretty solid. Case in point is that horrible stock trigger. A $10 spring kit from HBi will bring the trigger from a stock of 10.9lbs to a reasonable 5.8lbs. If you want to go further, Timney makes a good trigger. HBi makes a lot of stuff for the Scorpion...

Barrel nuts for free float handguards are typically proprietary. Out of curiosity, why would you want to swap a Mlok handguard for a quad picatinny handguard? You can put picatinny sections on the Mlok, if you wish.

With a magazine inserted, loaded or empty, you won't see a dip when the striker is released.

Been a while for me as well, but IIRC the upper and lower handguard is considered a single item with regard to 922r.

The MAK90 should have all but 4 of the above, putting your count at 16. US-made stock set drops it to 13. If no muzzle device, then it drops to 12. Those last 2-3 can be tough: magazines or trigger components? CMC does make a nice AK trigger in the $140 range.

Contact local, state, and federal LE agencies. They often have capacity to train outside agencies and are willing to do so. In part to understand how other agencies are training and might react and how their own training stacks up. Give it a try, they can only say no.
