JMOfartO: My favorite pistols are sub-compact 9MM.. I've had several, but the one I prefer the best, now, is the Kahr CM9. This is my first Kahr, and it won't be my last. SWEET trigger, feels good in the hand, and small enough to conceal in a back pocket (if you have big back...

What do you like and hate about your Kahr?

FWIW: I'm a new Kahr owner, but a happy one. I bought a new CM9 and it has exceeded my expectations. So far (knock on wood) absolutely reliable and surprisingly accurate at 7 yards. I have the Ruger LC9 and have been well satisfied with it, even tho it has a trigger from hell, but...

    Boberg XR9-S

TACtical: I'm prejudiced (as I have one), but I think the Onyx version of the XR9-S has a better "look" to it than the other models. I'm sure owners of the other models will disagree, but I've always preferred a black (or dark) pistol for any of my concealed carry choices. Truthfully...

    The Marlin 39 Club

casecolor: Well, IF you had chosen to put the all steel Redfield peep sight on your Century Limited, it would have looked like mine, shown below. I bought the Century Limited w/Redfield scope off Gunbroker from the original owner. He said he put the Redfield peep sight (and a taller front...

    The Marlin 39 Club

Tim: FWIW my experience with the factory authorized repair facility "Paduka Shooters" in Paduka, Ky. was quite satisfactory. I had bought a 1950 39A with a bad breech bolt and other concerns and Charlie at Paduka Shooters was very friendly and helpful to me in getting it fixed. I would...

    CCW Suggestions

Pony ~ One consideration when gun shopping is whether you intend to carry it concealed for personal defense, or it's just going to be your house gun or range plinker. I'm a big fan of 9's in general and over the decades I've had a bunch of 'em, and I believe for home defense you'd be hard...

    My favorite compact 9MM pistols

bannockburn: My apologies for not responding earlier to your questions, somehow I just overlooked your post. I've had my Boberg XR9-S about a week or two, and have run approximately 150-175 rounds thru it. It was impeccable for the first hundred rounds or so with Winchester White Box...

    My favorite compact 9MM pistols

west.22: I haven't had any issues with wobble using the X-grip on my sk... I found the standard fingertip mag on the sk is just a tad "short" for my taste, but using the X-grip gets me three free rounds and a much better grip. Works just find for iwb use. Jesse

Ponch: No Shield (altho I've read great things about 'em).. But, I am a big 3rd Gen S&W fan and I do have one of these::) J.

    Masterpiece Arms MPA 380

FWIW: Most folks think the MPA guns are Seecamp clones, but I believe they are actually more "Autuga" clones. I did a bit of research some time back because I wanted to buy on to shoot "head to head" with my Seecamp LWS380, but AT THAT TIME they were having reliability problems.. Or...
