FWIW.

I'm a big fan of mini/sub/compact 9MM pistols for cc iwb carry. These three are my favorites..:D

I've owned several subcompacts over the years - My all time fav is this one (1250 rounds thru it in 1 month)

No Shield (altho I've read great things about 'em).. But, I am a big 3rd Gen S&W fan and I do have one of these::)

PX15- Those are some nice sub compacts. I really like that H&K, I don't know if you have as much mag wobble as I had with the mag adapter on my 26 but a #39 O ring from Menards P/N 9D0035753B under the mag adapter took all the wobble away.

I haven't had any issues with wobble using the X-grip on my sk... I found the standard fingertip mag on the sk is just a tad "short" for my taste, but using the X-grip gets me three free rounds and a much better grip. Works just find for iwb use.

Why do the Shield owners need to calm down????? My 9mm is great so far and the best subcompact gun I have shot and carried. Better than the CW9 I had.

Kahr PM9.
About six years, many rounds, still working perfectly.

I have since moved to a .45acp handgun for daily carry, but life can be unpredictable.

I am recently carrying the PM9 again due to recurring problems with my back.
The PM9 is the perfect compromise between size, weight and power.

The glock 26 mag had an aft movement, but only with the extended mags in it. the flush fit mags don't move any more than usual. Must have a better fit on the HK.

I really like the unique design of the Boberg XR9-S. How has it been shooting it and about how many rounds have you put through it?

No jimbo, it's not a "my gun is better than yours". We are a diversified group here who like different things in our personal gun. What works for me might not work for you. Different hand size, body size, caliber preference and so on. It would be a sad world if we all just liked G17's and that was it. Think of how many gun company workers would be unemployed.

Right now the Shields are on top. A while back it was the Ruger LC9. Before that the LCP, LCR, PPS, and so on all the way back to the model 1911 in 1911. When the Peace Maker came out in 1873 I bet everyone wanted one. Other models will follow and the Shield will quieten down. Besides that, you can't find one anywhere now anyway. It's marketing and the American way.
Happy Fourth of July.

I only owned one 9x19 subcompact. It was DAO Colt with stainless slide alloy frame with six round magazines. It was the only Colt product I have ever owned and probably better then most subcompact 9Para pistols out there. It is seldom seen as only about seven thousand were made before winning lawsuit from Kahr firearms shot down production. Single stack 9x19 pistols or six-shot revolvers do nothing for me.
