You didn't say what caliber you are going with, but if you check the Savage Arms model list, there are drop-downs for the different chambering options for all the rifles they offer, since it is a little confusing. I have a pre-accutrigger Model 110e (Long Action) that I would like to replace...

+1. Remington Thunderbolt .22LR. Very dirty, 1 out of 10 won't go bang. Have had some squib on me as well.

Some really nice rifles, gentlemen. Glad to see this thread revived :). For those who wonder: The kick on the .300 H&H Mag. is appreciable, but not nasty. Crisp, solid; but controllable. Mine is in storage currently. I hope to change it back to a wood stock. Not a fan of synthetics...

This is one of my favorites...... Although, I like this one as well :). Have to arrive early at these places to get a good spot at one of the concrete tables. Watch out for the brass buzzards, if you want to save your brass ;)

Well said, +1 for me :). It's not easy living here, knowing that our votes rarely count and the officials elected do not represent our ideals. That does not alter the fact that we have not given up and will continue to support our rights in any way possible.
