So I had my SKS up for sale here on THR & I was doing drill ( National Gaurd ) well one of my " buddies " said yes to purchase it a month ago, I told him sure but I will still offer it untill then. He said " ok ", so I get to drill on saturday & ask him if he's still good for it, he said " yes " so I said do you have the cash he said " no, man I'll get it to you tomorrow " I said " ok " and went on with my buisness. The next day about half way through the day I bump into him in the parking lot and say " Hey man where's my money " really joking like ( me and him where somewhat friends prior so I didn't see a problem with it, I joke all the time ) He said, " I'm not buying it, flashed me the finger... " then said " your an <deleted>"

...
...
I was shocked at first, kinda thinking he was messing with me, but then he walked away and didn't confront me at all the rest of the day. :banghead:

Why am I an <deleted>?
I dunno I just see issues with people saying " yes I'll buy it, " then shaking on it then when it comes to pay they back out...

Thats a big sentence and you need some periods and your friend didn't want your gun what kind of sks is it chinese yugo russian romanian does it shoot good how much is it?

That would be called a lack if integrity, just sell it to someone else.

I'm asking $300. It's a Norinco, shoots great, Matching numbers.
The local store's are selling for them for $330 without taxes & backround check.

I'm so pissed right now man... what a terd

that is two fold
first why the change
(asking for understanding might get you more that just trashing him)

Secondly, cash and gun change hands at the SAME time during a FTF...

You didn't have a "deal" since you still had it on the market offering it to others....Write it off. Of course, I'd think about writing him off as a "buddy" for the finger and name calling.

Gee, people telling you they'll buy something and then welching out on it. That never happens!

Hope your life never depends on a guy like that. If a firearm is for sale an the guy said he wanted it he should have bought it. Typicaly I don't do business with friends or guys I work with. Keeps friends and buddies just that. No hard feelings that way.

No loss as you still have the rifle. He might have not been able to cough up the $$$ that day (you said he delayed before) and become mad at you for thinking that you were pushing the sale on him. Sell it where ever you can and don't sweat others actions so much. You might not have been as good friends as you thought IMHO.
