Always work in progress. Having a blast setting this up.
Started with this:

And ended with this.

Need to make some decisions on this back wall.

That's a panoramic shot from an I phone 5. The room is not even 10 x 10 so getting it all in one is tough even if I'm plastered against the wall. Kinda looks like the fish-eye in a go pro doesn't it ?
It does look like a fish eye lens. I have a 10-24 lens for my Canon 70D that takes photos like that. Interesting effect.

That's a very interesting press, smokey1; don't think I've ever seen one like it. Why don't you tell us about it? Nice, compact plate fastening system, too.

This is a bench I made for my basement using all scrap wood from a building site's trash pile. It's size was basically determined by what material I had. These photos were made when it was new, so it's not that neat now, and it has a lot more supplies now. I've also added Masonite top covers in the work areas. I use the left side addition for a forearm cleaning area, an area to lay out my load books, a lube station, and case cleaning and handling station.

That reloading bench is one of the best I've seen in this mega-thread, excellent job! Your whole layout looks well thought out, and very functional. Very nice job.

Well, its taken me about fifteen months from "I want to start reloading" to "I can reload now" and a lot of questions answered on this forum. I finally starting shooting some of my reloads around the first of the year and now regularly load .45 ACP. .380 Auto and .223.

New here and thought I'd post a pic of my bench. This pic is a few years old and now have more things on the bench.

We're almost there. Long bench on the wall for leather work, table for handloading. Hopefully enough room for six to ten presses and component storage underneath.

CraigC, that's nice. I really like that you ran with so many outlets. My converted garage workshop is sorely shy on plugs. Can't wait to have the money and time to redo the whole shebang.

Good looking tables there, did you make them yourself?

That's a great man cave Craig. Very nice work on the benches, but no surprise to anyone who has seen your leather work.

Thanks guys! I probably over-did it a little bit with the electrical and have the bill to show for it but I'm sure I'll be glad I did in the end. I was going to build the stuff myself but managed to talk my contractor into doing it and he did a hell of a fine job. Much better than anything I would've slapped together. We used 3/4" oak plywood, 4" oak posts and trimmed it in 1x4's. There are no exposed fasteners and the bottom shelf of the loading bench has several hidden legs underneath. Should be able to support anything I'll want to put on it, which will be a substantial supply of bullets and other components. Still have to build a pole to bring power to the island from the ceiling.

You can't tell from the pics but the ceiling is actually copper powdercoated sheetmetal roofing. Seems extravagant but was actually cheaper than sheetrock.

I've got exhaust fans on either side of the 30x26 room for fumes and cigar smoke. ;)

Great looking benches. You need to post pics when you get your equipment mounted.

Craig, what are the walls made of?

You'll be very glad for the extra work In Putting up outlets. It's so nice to just reach from any spot and have power.

Thanks guys! I probably over-did it a little bit with the electrical and have the bill to show for it but I'm sure I'll be glad I did in the end.

I've never heard anyone say, "Damn, this place has too many electrical outlets." I've heard the opposite complaints a lot.

The only problem I see with anything is that the table is too pretty to drill holes into.
