    Can You Remove Engraving

Ordered a black one. Wasn’t sure about the ivory. I didn’t see a stainless or nickel listed.

    Can You Remove Engraving

Unfortunately it is on the front strap. Could a gunsmith get it off. It is really a piece of history I want. It is pinned and recessed. Other that the gun is immaculate. It has the serial number on the grips matching the gun.

    Can You Remove Engraving

I am looking at buying a S&W M49 that is nickel plated. The old owner engraved his social security number on the grip. I guess he was thinking he would live for ever and always own the gun. My question is there a way to polish that engraving out? Is there anything you can do to get rid of it...

It is funny I hardly ever go to the woods because of my health. When I do I carry a 6” Dan Wesson 10mm.

This is my 3” Python that gets rotated from time to time. The 2.5” on my Smith M66 doesn’t dig in my hip.

    Polish Stainless

Model 629 no dash. It is stainless with a few scratches. I am not wanted a mirror polish just enough to take the scratches out and brighten up just a tad.

    Fighting Revolver

It would probably end up being my EDC (M66) with a couple of speed-loaders. I do carry a back up in my pocket which is a S&W M640 Pro.

    S&W Model 629

I didn’t know they even made them with a lock anymore. I guess as a young man I always wanted the M29 because of Dirty Harry and I was elated to get the 629. I was a young man when that show came out and I think every police I knew wanted one. Mine does not have a dash. Lock up is super tight...

    S&W Model 629

I was at my local gun store this week and found a S&W 629 (no lock) with a 6” barrel. I am a poor man so I put it in lay-a-way and will be able to pick it up next week. Can’t wait. This will be my first 44 magnum 6”. Wished it would have been the M29, but I am happy with stainless.

    Back To Revolvers

I have reverted back to carrying revolvers. I started in 1978 and carrying g professionally since 1982. I did go the semi-auto route for a long time. There is just something about a good wheel gun. I bought a S&W 640 Pro and sent it to M Carbo for a trigger job. It is a J Frame and fits my...
