I know that Stoeger and Erma made them, but how about new production Luger in .22 LR with a honest to goodness toggle-lock action. That would be really sweet if it was done right - 1:1 ratio, weight, etc.
Since Toomey and Manchin both have NRA "A" Rating, but have decided to conspire with the NRA's foes to craft "compromise" legislation, should the NRA immediately and publically strip them of their "A" rating?
Yes, in the past, I've rounded up my replacement cost per item, to ensure I'll have enough coverage.
During the last big scare in '08, I upped my coverage to reflect a more accurate replacement cost based on the market conditions at the time, by the time my renewal came around, prices had...
Here is a link to an interesting article on Politico, apparently, mentions of the term "gun control" on television, in newspapers, and in online media are down to pre-Sandy Hook levels, including Twitter. I think this is a very good sign that the media's gun control push is starting to run out...
I think its too early to tell if the tide is turning against the 2A. You often see a media uproar after unfortunate events (i.e. Giffords shooting, VA Tech shooting, Columbine shooting), but ultimately at the national level, the situation returns to the status quo. Undoubtedly, we'll see some...
If you take about one minute you can generate a gun collectors quote with no safeguards (safe, vault, etc.), but with full burglary and theft protection using the link below:

My most recent rate sheet shows a divergence between...
I use collectinsure as well, and while it is a very good idea to have one, it is my understanding that a safe is not a requirement. I looked over my policy just to double check. That may be a requirement at certain higher dollar amounts, but is not with the policy I've had with them for years.
It looks like Numrich is sold out, that is where I usually go to find parts for my surplus/older guns that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. Your best bet may be to check the auction sites but your going to need to be lucky to find exactly what you need...
I myself think its a very good thing to see a popular uprising against against a despotic dictator succeed. Time will tell if the Libyans have enough wisdom not to fall right back into the same pattern of governance as nearly every other country in that region. But they do have a real...
Anthony Weiner would make a good spokesperson for the Brady Campaign. I hear that he's an anti-gunner who's currently looking for a job and has about the same level of integrity as the Brady Campaign.
Looks like the message from Al Qaeda to potential Jihadis is "Try your worse but you're on your own guys, don't expect any support from us, we've got our own troubles."
I've considered picking between those two for a long time but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've read that its much harder to get a CETME to run reliably compared to a L1A1, but that's hearsay, and not actual experience.
I'm fine with my email being published, if there is a list, I'm already on it. I hold an FFL 03 and a CCW License. I'm a member of the NRA, GeorgiaCarry.org, have contributed to the SAF, I write my congressmen every time lame-brain legislation comes up, and have sent comments to the ATF every...
Whats the big deal? So your gunshow doesn't allow any loaded Garand clips or loaded stripper clips. Heck, your show is better than ours, we can't even bring loaded magazines in! :neener:
