I've got the same...(and it's very accurate). I love shooting both 38's and 357's... I can't wait to see your new grips! I don't really mind the "cheesegraters" it came with but I'd like something a bit more "cowboyesque" to make it feel a lil more "mine".
I have had mine for 2 yrs now... it's the "regular" one in 243. It'll put 4 rounds of either 80 or 100gr Win PowerPoints into one inch @ 100yrds, often in 2 holes. Any negativity that I've experienced has only been from reading comments from folks who either don't own one or if they try...
Folks, thanks much for the suggestions and solutions... I think i'll start @ 3.2gr of bullseye and see where that takes me. I would have tried ordering some online, but I'm a bit time limited and I have these really nice SWC's and want to give them a try. Next time, I'll pay more attention to...
I have always used a 148 gr DEWC over 2.8gr of Bullseye and it has worked perfectly.... Unfortunately, I am having a tough time finding those bullets.
I have a bunch of nice 158gr. LSWC's and would love your opinion on how much powder (Bullseye or Unique) to use in order to kinda duplicate the...

I think you know what I'm sayin'! LOL Plus.... when I shoot with my sons, I usually tear-up during the competition and am forced to conceed. ;) Btw, we usually shoot iron sights @ 20 and 70 yrds.... there's no mistaking who has the youngest eyes! LOL
FANTASTIC write up!.... a great learning experience for the kid and wife. You are indeed a good guy by "teaching" him how to adjust parallax for success. Oh those young eyes, they'll getcha every time!
While the 686 and others are fine machines.... and I lean toward the Dan Wesson.... I think a Ruger GP100 or Sp101 would be my first choice if choosing a NEW revolver. I just can't appreciate the S&W "hole".
