As I understand this he placed his pistol on the table and went outside. I would assume the SCCY was flat on its side. It majically discharged all by itself and sent a round through the table into the floor. Now how could this be possible? If it was on its side the bullet would have gone into a...
I had a 3913 years ago. At some point I was stupid and let it go in a trade for something. I finally found another in a LGS. I got all excited until I saw they wanted over eight hundred dollars for it. Best carry gun I ever had until the Shield came along. Congratulations, you did well. Very well.
I think that is one neat toy. Very impressive. For me I would not have enough need for it to justify $250. My Uplula is the last loader I will ever need. That was a practical invention worth $25-$30.
I do a lot of research before I buy a gun. No matter what brand or type of gun you will get people that say how great they are and others that say what trash they are.I notice Taurus and Kimber tend to fall into these categories more than most. I am not bashing Kahr but I will tell you my...
I have used extended mags in my G-26. That is, before the ban. No problems ever. I live in Ct. and must use ten round mags in my G-19. No problems ever. I have no experience with 10mm.
Sounds like fun. Let me put on my thinking cap.
Walther PPK
S&W 3913
S&W 638
Glock 26
M&P Shield
Glock 36
Oh man, my thinking cap is failing me. I know there is more but darned if I can remember.
All guns aren't going to work for all people. I like my Shield just fine. I have also heard people complain about Glocks feeling like a 2X4. I don't have a problem with them either. I did have to get rid of a Sig 239 because it just didn't fit my hand.
When this mess started I was lucky enough to score a six pound jug of Unique and a pound of W231. Then I had health issues and didn't get to do a bunch of shooting. Now that I'm back into it I'm good to go for powder.
In 600 rounds of half a dozen brands I have had one failure. I believe it was Federal. I think you are better off with high velocity rounds and a clean properly lubed gun.
I have the G- 36 and the 9mm Shield. They have both been 100% reliable. The Shield is my carry gun. The G-36 is the gun I shoot the best. I have worked the G-36 over with night sights, +0 mag extension, 3.5 connector, and all the other mods that people do to Glocks. It is my favorite gun.

I have had Hogue, Altamont and Eagle. One set of Hogue grips didn't have the area relieved so the slide release leaver could be activated. Fit has been less than perfect too. Altamont has always impressed me. They are my first choice.
I would think the 938 would be ideal. I want one. I am not spending $700+ for yet another small 9mm. Magazines aren't cheap either. Cost may be the problem with a 938 for you.
