I had some Tula steel cased .357 Mag that I have pulled the bullet and powder, popped the live primer out, and reused all everything except the case. Just be easy when popping out a live primer(always wear safety glasses and gloves when operating the press), nice and slow.
I don't reload 9mm, but I do know people that do. My question is, why would anyone buy 9mm brass when all the ranges have it scattered across the floor in large quantities? I have several hundred cases from picking out the stuff I want.
The few people I know that reload 9mm have buckets full...
IMO, people make a HUGE mistake by:
-listening to music or watching TV while they reload
-drink beer/alcohol while they reload
-have buddies over while they reload
All these take your attention away from the task.
I have a different philosophy.
I do all my brass prep at an earlier...
If you look on ebay, people include the shell holders (90198) with the hand and bench primer. I bought the bench primer and shell holders for $63 shipped.
Yes, loading .357 Magnum is actually one of the calibers that makes sense to reload to save money. I can load .357 Mag for about $0.23 a round and commercial ammo goes for about $0.45 a round.
I was at a local reloading shop and was looking at some RCBS dies. I asked one of the people that work there and they said that only "budget" dies like Lee include a shell holder.
I was almost shocked that Lee is the only one. I started to think, well, if other companies can get people to...
I am buying a Springfield Garrison 9mm pistol and apparently Springfield is a bunch of cheapskates and only include ONE magazine.
So I need to buy some spares. I was wondering if anyone has any input on which magazines to use with these pistols.
I have had great luck with Mec Gar magazines...
I'm not really hedging my bets on that the military uses it. Heck the US military chose the Sig P320 over the Glock 19X. It appears that the US military is having their fair share of problems with the P320 while Glocks seems to just shoot.
I gather we have different definitions of what combat is.
I do agree that the old "ring of fire" guns are POS guns, that's no secret. I do also think that a $1000 poly striker gun isn't really a whole lot better than a $400 poly striker fired gun.
Absolutely not, but there are MANY that do...
Unless you or I are in the military, some kind of state or national guard, etc., the odds of us going into combat isn't a percentage point worth discussing.
I see people with POS Jennings, Cobras, Jimenez, etc. Apparently they don't see it the same as you.
You're looking at it through your...
True, but I do think 99.9% of people who are of age and are law abiding citizens should own guns, practice with them, promote firearm safety, etc.
I am aware of what site I am posting on, I am posting on a pro-gun website, this discussion is about firearms. I own expensive guns and less...
