Cleaning not so bad. I pull the cylinder and grips and trigger guard then put it in the sink or a tub filled enough to cover the parts with hot soapy water. Let it soak about 20 minutes then brush and patch it. Then rinse with hot water and pour a little alcohol down the internals from trigger...
I'm curious of the year of manufacture. Could it be old enough that maybe it takes shorter cylinder?
I know some of the older different make ones won't take the newer cylinders without modifying the front of the frame.
If so is the replacement pin too long too?
Sorry for your loss.
The scope shows discontinued by manufacture. I did find a listing on eBay for $145. I'm sure that's a bit high considering. I have several Barska scopes and the are pretty good scopes.
Lee molds is all I have. Like 24 at last count. Some over 20 years old and still put out good projectiles.
I run my RBs in a tumbler to get them in good shape.
Single shot, just pinch a little. May not be best in very damp weather if out hunting.
I had a nipple like that and just trimmed the cone down a bit just so the cap would grab. Usually doesn't take much.
