Nothing like a good old High Road forum thread to bring one back down to earth (LOL). I appreciate all the informative comments. I would love to have a double barrel coach gun through.
I'm intriged by this firearm from Henry. I would think it would make a pretty decent home defense, especially in tight quarters. But is a 410 cartridge enought?

I did check out that thread, thank you. Not a bad looking rifle. It's nice to see that lever actions are on the rise in popularity. I am very impressed with Henry's attitude toward it's customers, our heroes and the country, which makes me lean toward the Henry.
Zamak / Samak doesn't faze me (LOL) It's a 22 don't think it'll blow apart and I don't have any trips planned for the rain forest. I'm told that Henry's warrenty is excellent and from what I've researched they acually give a crap about the customers purchasing their products.
I'm looking to get a lever action 22, just to plink mostly at the indoor range (25 yrds) I belong to. Heard good things about Henry and the H001 looks like it would fill the bill without breaking the bank. Going price in my neck of the woods is $350 NIB. I will have to replace the sights with HI...
My son and I took his new Henry rifle to my local range a few days ago. He had taken it apart and lubed everything that needed it before the range trip. Ist off it ate every round of various bulk ammo we threw at it, and did so flawlessy. The actions smoothness absolutly blew me away. It was...

The Laverda xs750 is a twin not a triple, but in good condition worth big bucks. I've owned Triples since 1971 with the 1st one purchased was a " Kawasaki H1 500cc Mach III 2 stroke, which is a rocket ship on two wheels. To this day I will never forget the 1st time It hit 6000 rpm, felt like I...
Very sorry for the mistake. It is a Luger. It's the real deal. It's the tip of the iceburg as to what he has. Serial #.s all match. He let my son see his collection but I'll have to earn his trust before I get to the compete collection. He opened his safe for my son because they got to know each...
My sons neighbor has one of above that was brought back after the war. It's all original and has the Nazi insignia. he's asking $1200 /$1500 for it. Good investment or not? Thanks!
<<Note, the title of the thread has been edited but a number of responses refer to the original title which had a...
Hi all, my son recently purchased the above. Just looking for any owner tips; cleaning, ammo and the like. Not sure if he wants to scope it or not, but its says that it's drilled and tapped for a scope. Any insight or suggestions on cleaning or maintaining this rifle would be greatly...
Why with all the choices of firearms today, pick a company like Taurus to support. They are one of the worst concerning their customers. There are so many companies that acually care about you and your purchase. That acually bend over backwards to make sure your satifised. When it comes to those...
Don't own a P22, but I don't think theres a comparison between the two, with the SR22 being superior. If the $100 difference brothers you, purchase a used Ruger SR22. Rugers customer service is second to none. Here's my post about my SR22 & Ruger customer service;
My Ruger SR22 was sent in for...
As far as the Fastfire 3 goes, I have one mounted on a 9mm & and one mounted on my 22. Never a single issue with either of them. Once sighted in they never had to be adjusted after 1000's of rounds and over a years use on either firearm. Batterys have never been replaced. Great reddot with an...
