I have owned 3 of them. I am a circus midget basically with small hands. It fit me perfect and shot excellent, no twist. My brother in law is a 6'5" 250 lb biker who has hands the size of a baseball glove. He cant hold on to it. I guess it just depends on who ya are.
A Garand and a M1A pitches the brass anywhere from 1 to 3 oclock when lubed correctly. If it starts pitching 4-5 oclock, then she's dragging and needs grease. MyDad was a WW2 vet in the Ardennes, and that was the answer he gave me when I asked him that very same question.
649 S&W Jframe 357. I removed the factory rubber grips and installed old school wood model 36 grips with a Tyler Tgrip. Stings the palm a touch with Barnes 140gr Vor-Tx loads
I am 55 now, but when I was 18, I worked construction. I stayed late to finish hanging a drop ceiling grid, and got robbed by a guy swinging a bat with a knife taped to the end like a bayonet. He was actually gonna kill me for 6.50 and a Exxon card. I bought a used jframe and that was the start.
In VA you have to have permission to carry into a place of worship during services. Luckily, my Pastor is my shootin buddy. I told him I was gonna start carrying, he said OK, but 1 favor... Keep it concealed well so nobody else knew. I said Fair enough.
As you can tell, I'm an XD guy. However, I must say the Glock 19 & 26 are two daggone fine pistols. I would trust my life with either. And the best part,... The more you shoot them, the better they get.
See, the bad part is... she lets it get this bad without saying anything. If she would just say, Hey how bout a cleaning, No problem. She goes out to shoot it and it jams cause of all the junk in it, and she wants to go to the gun store and buy her a new one cause this one failed and she lost...
I just don't know how to put it to her any clearer that you cannot do this to a pistol and expect it to work. :banghead: I go thru this twice a month when I do a disassemble / clean on it. Pocket fuzz, enough to make 20 pairs of pants. She refuses to use a pocket holster, and carries this around...
If you do reload, might want to look into one of these gizmo's. I reload 9mm and others and found that alot of bullets I like don't have a cannelure from the factory. It has helped me alot. The crimp locks that bullet right in with a cannelure.
