A shooting buddy of mine has a hookup on discount powder that I didn't know about. He heard me say I planned to make an order and said he could get me some. Today he brought me 6 lbs of Power Pistol for 15 bucks a pound.

Like the title said, it's been a long time since I bought a brand spanking new handgun. Given Colt's current financial issues, I figured now was a good time. I ordered a new National Match.

I certainly have no problem doing it....I just picked up this 98% blue 6". It barely had a turn line and appeared to have been shot very little. I put a nice sized pile ammo thru it today. FWIW, they weren't .38 Specials,either.:D

I just read over on another forum where a guy just got his back order T-Grips in the mail. It seems they are back in business. Great for them...Too bad for all the guys who joined the frenzy and have been paying 50-100 bucks for used ones over the past few months.

So, today I was loading and a small part suddenly broke on my LNL AP. I picked up the phone and in less than 2 minutes had a replacement part on the way for...free. My hat's off to Hornady once again....Yeah, yeah, I know some of the other guys give out free parts, too.:)
