Or big bore revolver for that matter. It's a NM Blackhawk in .45 Colt. Put 100rds through it so far and hope to start reloading for it soon. Should make for a great woods bumming gun for around the place. :D :

If it helps I just bought one from the late 80's with a 4 5/8" barrel for $380 OTD. Seems to be about right. I'd offer $350 and see.

It's a Ruger NM Blackhawk and so far I'm hooked! granted I've only shot 50rds through it until I get a set of dies and start reloading for it. I've heard people saying that the triggers on the new models aren't very good but this one has no creep and breaks quite nice at 3.25 lbs. Looking...

SIG P232 is a good one. Might be a bit smaller than you are looking for but the G42 is a very soft shooter that is accurate as well.
