This was on a war time Colt Commando. It has no markings.

I have run acoss an LC Smith 3e. I see one on GB and one at Cabellas. The marking makes me think it is a grade 3, and one on GB now has the same engraved ducks on the side plate. But I do not understand why there is no "goggle" about what 3e fully means. Thanks!
