Hi i have an old ted willams rifle from sears i want to know what its worth its in 270win, very good condition, made in the 50's-70's has a big chunk of what looks like real silver in the stock and has a old redfield 4x scope on it anyone have an idea? i can post pics and more info later...

i have a 2x aimpoint compc3 on top of my M1A in a scout mount set up with 1MOA dot and LOVE it, good FOV, very fast, just the right magnification and tough as nails.

well seems how they go for about 2000-2200$ thats an awesome deal. check the chamber make sure its clean, check the barrel for ware, check the stock over for dings, check the op-rod for ware and thats about it.

oh btw i use type 57 mags and have yet to have a single jam/problem in 500 rounds though that 1 mag, pretty sure they are good to go got mine for $12 each at midway usa

i prefer kimbers, alot of people have had problems with them but my kimber has never jammed on me unless its my fault or a bad re-load.

ok so my brothers 45acp XD compact has this thing where if you put in an extended mag with the sleeve on it and tap it hard it drops the slide i want to know if this is normal or does it need fixing?

i keep mine ghost loaded with 3'' 00buck (remington 15pellet) so i have 8 3'' mag rounds total.

i have had the spring bind on me 2 or 3 times all of them were fixed with a sharp smack to the forend i had a few failures to eject with low base birdshot was pretty easy to clear and has never happend with high base stuff.

well i use 3'' mags so it has about an inch and a half extra room in it so thats not a problem i also keep it "ghost loaded" for 8 rounds of 3'' mag 00buck. anyway i read the choate follower doesnt work to well but the wilson combat 870 follower works like a dream how much do the Nob charging...

it has hung up before, since then i have oiled it and it seems to be ok not something i would trust my life on hence why i want a new one. as for the stock one it feels like another round is in it when its empty (the hole in the middle makes it feel like a primer)
