Zeiss, Leupold, NF, or what scope will you guys say is going to be best at 800ish yards on a 308? Im currently looking at the Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50 LR/T M1 and am in contact with leupold about calibrating the turrets to a Federal GM 168gr. Any thought appreciated

i have the chance to buy a ga precision in 308 its the base rifle rem 700 action in manner stock 20 moa base leupold rings 167 rounds thru it. whats yalls thoughts and what price range would you say this is?? thanks

dogrunner the ringing a shell was exactly my idea. it will be the same as a slug but i have seen it pull the choke out of a 870

i will have to say the 7mm08. very light recoil. i have kills on whitetail at 300yd with no problems. but if you want something a little bigger go with the 30 06 it will take any game in north america.

can anyone tell me about the accuracy of these little guns. i purchased the 243 it seems to have a heavier barrel than most i have seen so i dont know if they make 2 models. looking forward to shooting it after i give it to my girl for christmas.

my bad scope does not have to be fixed power just want it to magnify up to 10-12x

ok i want a new scope to go on my remington 700 tactical in 223. looking to spend around 500-600. have never had a scope with real fine reticle and would like to try that. something with 10x. so tell me your thoughts on what is good for this. tia

i would suggest you get the sps tactical for the 1-9 twist. i had the varmit for a few months very accurate out of the box but the 1-12 twist turned me off of it.
