Yes I use both and specially Universal seems to be very clean burning. And I think both meter better in my powder measure (Lee Auto Disk).

I had a FortyNine in 9mm and it was a great gun. Excellent handling and very accurate. The trigger pull was long and hard but I got used to it quickly. I never had a problem with it. Unfortunately traded it for a Ruger Vaquero when I had the "Cowboy Phase" after visiting the SASS Winter Range.

It depends on the gun. I have something like 10 mags for the 1911, but only 1 spare for the Bersa 380. I guess my average would be something like 3 magazines per gun and about 50 Moon Clips ..

Would sound reasonable to me if this was a snub nose 38 with a speed loader. Some people actually do practice reloads with those once in a while. :)
