Hi Everyone:
I have wanted a pistol caliber carbine for a while to plink with and shoot plates at the 50 yard range at my gun club. While at my LGS buying a couple of other guns, an impulse came over me to look at this little old AR in the corner. It turned out to be a Colt Sporter Lightweight in 9mm. Being an AR-pattern afficionado, I took an immediate liking to it’s retro style and chambering. An assortment of 20 and 32 round mags would come with it. Per the counter guy, it had no box but was reportedly unfired. It looked the part - no wear anywhere and the bore and breechface are pristine. So there I was, buying my first PCC. It ain’t the latest, greatest thing but neither am I. It’s likely ‘92 or ‘93 vintage production. A1 sights. Full stock. I may throw a collapsible stock on it to make it a bit more portable. Can’t wait to see what it does at the range! Anyone else have one of these?
