I'm in the "mood" for peep sights on my little 10-22 , to replace the scope, and was wondering which ones work best for folks? The Skinners look good but there are also the Williams version that seem to be OK too.
Not a poll, just looking to hear the pros and cons on the available versions.

I had a set of Williams until my eyes went even worse and I had to scope my rifle. They were fine. I had some Skinner's on a marlin 1894. They were fine too. I don't know that I would pay more for the skinners unless you really like the look. Neither one are particularly easy to adjust.
Personally, I hate the look of the tech sights, though they function just fine. You could also drop a small red dot in a scope rail for less than the peep sights.

Shanghai,

I'm big on the Skinners. They are tough, and with the replaceable peep inserts more than configurable.

I ordered some Skinner sights today, got the Express version cause I liked the lower profile look. Been wanting a set for the Marlin 95 too so just went ahead and ordered for both it and the 10/22.

I have Skinner sights on a Henry and love em. I've also had Tech-Sights in the past and they're top notch.

I have Tech Sights on my 10/22 that I built for Appleseed Rifleman qualification. I like them!

The Tech Sights look like good sights but my 10/22 has the full length "international" stock and I thought that the Skinners would look better. I also like the lower profile of the Express model and that I might not need to change the front sight out.
YMMV

"I'm waiting....." ;)
Update 8/18
They both arrived today and fit right on to both rifles. No time to check alignment today but hope to do that over the weekend. Nice looking and the workmanship seems well done.

Went out this morning before it go TOO hot with both. The Ruger is shooting way high at 25 yards, (needs taller front sight) and the Marlin is shootin low at 50 yards so a shorter front sight for it. Maybe I should just swap and see how that works..?
I like how these look and the sight picture is good for these old eyes of mine.
Oh, forgot to say that they also send you the allen wrenches that you'll need to install and adjust the sights.
