I have an unfired M&P with box & a Cartwright with crusty box!IMHO, that pinned barrel is worth a few bucks. If you don't have a Model 10, I would grab it.

SOLD!!! so good looking
I’m telling you and everyone else… there is a huge wave trend coming for old Colt’s & Smith! Just imagine young gun collectors with Star Wars money that don’t buy Star War stuff.Aint that the truth. My first 10-8 cost me $250, my first 10-5 (98%+) cost me $239, my second 10-5 cost me $200, then I stopped buying M10's for a while....then I went to look again a few years later and was a little shocked at what had happened since I'd been gone. In the span of a few years revolvers in general went from surplus to collectible.

one thing… no 2 things I wish they would not do to the Modern 10’s . Write CLASSIC on it and the lockLike others I think that’s a fair price for that condition. In my opinion, again just my opinion, I would take that 10-7 in that condition everyday and twice on Sunday over one of the new ”Classic” model 10’s even if they were the same price.
YES! 10-23!I agree, it might be petty on my part but I hate the Classic label. Just stick a dash number to it and be done.
You taught them a lesson.I passed on a NIB Model 10 many years ago because I thought 119.00 was too much. I bought a Taurus 82 for $79.00 instead.
It was a long time ago.
How did you end up with so many!?!?!I picked up a mint 10-5 a couple of years ago for $400. I hesitated for a minute because I already had 5 or 6. Don't ask how I ended up with so many.
Temptation should be a sin! ouchI would let this one go, then. You are adequately covered with Model 10s. Trust me, another temptation will come along!

I didn’t want to say anything but I did put $200 down! they have 90 days no interest layawayThe most efficient way to handle temptation is to give in immediately. Saves a lot of time.

There… I said it!
Hey, Your Markness,What you guys think of this? Just window shopping. Another very Clean PNW example of Smith’s. I love a Model 10! $650
a little bit of front muzzle wear, small buff!
don’t even know the barrel length! I’ll find out in like 89 days!Hey, Your Markness,
How much barrel on that Model 10? Is that a 5"? Not really sure if that is important for value?
I have a 6"; one of the guys at the shop called it "Barney Fife's gun". (Yeah, I know, 'ol Barn had a Colt)

You are pretty much quoting Oscar Wilde, and you are exactly right. The most efficient way to handle temptation is to give in immediately. Saves a lot of time
I can’t walk away from a model 10! It says every right about humanityThe 5-inchers are perfect, IMO. Id probably go $600 for that one, a bit more if I didn't already have 3 of them....
Nice gun Mark, what's $50 bux these days, lol.
Truly an elegant weapon from a more civilized age.I can’t walk away from a model 10! It says every right about humanity
you know what I’m saying! I should probably start smoking cigars too, loving aging!Truly an elegant weapon from a more civilized age.
