10-7 $650?

Aint that the truth. My first 10-8 cost me $250, my first 10-5 (98%+) cost me $239, my second 10-5 cost me $200, then I stopped buying M10's for a while....then I went to look again a few years later and was a little shocked at what had happened since I'd been gone. In the span of a few years revolvers in general went from surplus to collectible.
I’m telling you and everyone else… there is a huge wave trend coming for old Colt’s & Smith! Just imagine young gun collectors with Star Wars money that don’t buy Star War stuff.

1/2 my gun buddies are buying them like CRAZY

While I would like to see a $550 price tag considering how the S&W prices have increased I would likely pay the price if I wanted the gun. My only Model 10 is a 2". Thinking I bought that one maybe 20 years ago. Today looking at the prices on S&W revolvers like the older Model 27, 28 and 29 guns is a wake up call. :)

They still make the Model 10.

The "classic" character of older Model 10's offsets somewhat the "wear-and-tear" and "used goods" element in the bargain.

$100 doesn't buy a pair of decent shoes today.

Depends on HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT, and what is the ACTUAL CONDITION of it.

Here's a link for similar on GoneBroker. What do you think?

Like others I think that’s a fair price for that condition. In my opinion, again just my opinion, I would take that 10-7 in that condition everyday and twice on Sunday over one of the new ”Classic” model 10’s even if they were the same price.
one thing… no 2 things I wish they would not do to the Modern 10’s . Write CLASSIC on it and the lock

What you guys think of this? Just window shopping. Another very Clean PNW example of Smith’s. I love a Model 10! $650

a little bit of front muzzle wear, small buff!
Hey, Your Markness,
How much barrel on that Model 10? Is that a 5"? Not really sure if that is important for value?
I have a 6"; one of the guys at the shop called it "Barney Fife's gun". ;) (Yeah, I know, 'ol Barn had a Colt)

don’t even know the barrel length! I’ll find out in like 89 days! 😂

Barney Fife just needed one bullet! that says a lot about the gun then

The most efficient way to handle temptation is to give in immediately. Saves a lot of time
You are pretty much quoting Oscar Wilde, and you are exactly right. :)

Jumped on a LNIB M67 at the last gunshow, for $800, and didn't feel too abused.
Oddly, it's the second one, and I still have the holster from the first one.
