i think most of you are forgetting 12 gauge, i believe this is well over 100 years as well and im sure most of you have them (i have one)

.375 H&H
8mm Mauser

And I actually have a 22LR, 25 acp, and 30/40 that are 100 and in a couple years a 30-06 and 45 acp will join them

30-06 was introduced in either 1903 or 1906 depending on how you view it. 45 ACP in 1904. They've already had their 100th birthday's

Yes which is why I listed them among the cartridges but my p17 Enfield and S&W 1917 weren't made until 1918 hence it'll take a couple more years for them.

Give it 2 years and I'll add .380 to that list.

I shoot my 1873 trapdoor Springfield 45-70 (original, not a repro) several times a month. Lots of fun to shoot and quite accurate considering it's age.

Well I'd say the "Oldies but Goodies" are definitely holding their own. I've got nothing against new creations, after all that's the business,
but I can't help but notice how amazing those old timers were, at developing some great rounds.

I do have a 12 gauge shotgun and 20 as well. I used to have a 45 ACP and a 30-06, but I still don't have a 45 Colt or 375 H&H.

Thanks to all who played :D there sure are some neat old rounds still getting it done out there !!

Let's see, my hundred year olds include:
12 gauge
.45 Colt
.45 ACP
.38 Special
9 MM
.380
.30-06

And my favorite:
.38-40 out of my 125 year old Model 1873 Winchester

The only cartridges I shoot that aren't over 100 years old are:
.357 Mag
7.62x39
10 MM (This in my 10 MM/.38-40 convertible Ruger Blackhawk)
.22 Mag (In my .22 LR/.22 Mag Ruger Single Six)

When was .410 shotgun developed? Is it 100 yet?
