My first batch of 30 carbine loads were worked up with Armscor projectiles, which requires the coal to be shortened up a bit due to a more blunt bullet profile, I load them to about 1.655". The RMR bullets I've just gotten around to loading have an even rounder ogive (blunter profile) On average the projectiles themselves are .020 or so shorter. My question is, for those that have used the RMR 110's, what coal have you loaded to? I had factory loaded Armscor ammunition that was all over the place on coal 1.649 on the short end to 1.666 on the long side and a few of those jammed into the lands. I know the actual answer is to put together some dummy loads and start working the length back...just wanted to get a sanity check before I start loading any quantity. Thanks!
