I do have the picatinny rail that attaches to the barrel but that is for my 1858 carbine. Will post it on this forum once I am done installing the sword to it.

Titanium Aluminum Nitride is black - one vendor says high aluminum is black, high titanium is brown - but not offered for guns that I can find. Mostly used for high temperatures, higher than TiN will take.
The usual hard black finish is DLC.
I have to admit Im not big on these coatings ... It just isn't my personal persuasion BUT.... That looks pretty darn good man, I'm curious to see what the finish looks like with bp fouling or smokeless grime on it.
