I'd be all for extending this match into January. As to whether I can get out to shoot it still remains to be seen. As long as someone breaks a trail back to the range with a snowmobile or a 4x4, I can walk to it.
There are a couple people that have expressed interest in shooting, but haven't had the time, what say everyone about extending the match 1 additional month (thus making it a New Years Resolution match)?
Glad you enjoyed it.Fun, fun, fun.
Don't feel bad...everyone else thinks you are too. I had to do the same thing...until I got tired of it...I then proceeded to make one big hole in the center.I felt silly at times.
Glad to hear it...it ceases being fun when it isn't challenging...at least for me. I think I went a little too far with the stars though. All in all it was fun, challenging, frustrating, and tiring. I think this is the hardest shooting I've done; even Army basic training gave us a supported firing positions.
Good luck, I hate cold weather.I'm starting to have withdraws not getting to the range. The extended forecast doesnt look good but I will try and get out.
Glad the extra week helped out.Was going to go to the range tomorrow or Sunday regardless of weather, so this is good.
That is the spirit. Look forward to seeing your frozen handywork tomorrow.Couldn't feel fingers loading mags. Still good fun!
You are absolutely right, and I aim to keep it that way.You guys in the Carolinas don't know (or don't remember if you ever lived here) the joys of trying to shoot in the Midwest in winter.
Don't feel bad the German's couldn't handle it either. It was minus 13 degrees yesterday morning and forecast for below zero at night for the next week. I know the Finns shot at the Russians in this kind of weather back in the Winter War, but it's too cold for me to fondle a metal and fiberglass machine outside.
