A little pricey, but street price might be in the $1600 to $1700 range? Maybe less, I bought the Magpul/Troy flip up sight version of the M&P 10 back in the day for $1100, and the MSRP was at or around $1700.
i think savage is making a mistake. market is already watered down for ars. sooner see them to a lever action or improve their mag assembly on their rimfires.

Available in .308 Win and 6.5 CM with an aluminum reinforced, adjustable, AICS compatible stock and a threaded barrel for $1150 (MSRP). Sounds like it could be stiff competition for rifles like the RPR and Savage Stealth.
The new gen 2 M&P series hit the streets this week. They made some nice improvements to the slide, "lightened it" and trigger, amoung other things. May be time to look at them again.
