Wondering if anyone owns or has fired many rounds through a Taurus .22 Raging Hornet revolver. I have one that was given to me and the thing is so big it is almost ridiculous. It has the 10" barrel. I think it was built on the .454 Casull frame. I do shoot it often and enjoy shooting it for a while but it is very heavy. My question is, what is this pistol worth? I haven't fired that many rounds through it and am thinking of trading/seling it on a more practical handgun.

It is big. No matter. They're handy for longer ranges. Use two hands and a rest when you can. Even with open sights you will be surprised how deadly it is on diggers and the like at 70-80 yards. You do need a rest of some kind though. Ground, rocks, pick-up hood, fence, tree, almost anything.

And yes, Google is your friend. But with friendly researchers like ArchAngelCD, who needs it.

I am actually over 30 yrs. old. But I alsoi know that what google says isn't always what people are willing to pay. I prefer to ask actual people who use/buy items what they are paying than rely on a website that just shows what people are asking.

I do enjoy shooting this handgun, I get many looks from it when I get it out to shoot. I am considering a scope. Thanks for the input.

haha.... some interesting semantics involved in that statement. I am willing to pay you up to 25 dollars for that gun. I would pay substantially more, but I wouldn't be anywhere near as willing!

All joking aside, for some reason I have as late become interested in the .22 Hornet in handgun form. I have, and shoot, a smattering of .223's, and the .22 hornet seems to me to be the best compliment to those rifles.
