I encounter .22 rimfire rifle owners on a regular basis who tell me they have a .22 rifle that's a real "tack driver". So, that got me to thinking about having an event at our local gun club whereby owners could engage their .22 "tack driver rifles" on this target that I came up with:
I printed out a bunch of these targets on tagboard target paper that I bought from Amazon, and then tried some of my .22 rifles out on my range out back. I was shooting at 35 meters, although anyone can try this at whatever distance you choose.
It did create a very fun event for those who partook of the challenge. We did limit rifles to those of the sporter/hunting type and scope settings at 7 power, to try and keep things somewhat equal.
Feel free to print these targets out and try your favorite tack driver .22 rimfire rifle out. Would like to see posts of your end result.
