I never find .243 brass at the range, i guess most folks that shoot them, reload for them.
i was scanning through facebook the other day and on one of the local "outdoor trader" pages a guy put an add up for 165 rounds of .243 brass and a half a box of Sierra 85g HPBT Gamekings for $25! I put first dibs in.
What he didn't say in the add is that 100 rounds of the brass was brand new in the bags, Winchester! The other 65 were once fired Winchester. There were actually 60 rounds of the 85g HPBT's in the box. He also threw in 50 rounds of mixed brass he had, 30-06, .257, 22-250, and .222.
I will keep the 30-06 but the others will end up in the PIF thread at some point.
He was an older gentleman and had decided to give his re-loading equipment to his son, who did not re-load for .243.
