Before anyone starts reading too much into what I am saying let me make this abundantly clear, the 243 is a very capable deer rifle for real world applications, 100-200lbs deer inside 300 yards I would use it without hesitation. So nobody accuse me of being a 243 hater or magnum junkie, just applying a little science with my real world experience, though I will admit I have only hunted with factory 100gr Power Points in 243, so I will claim more experience with 7mm-08. If any hardcore 6mm guys wish to correct me on anything please chime in, I enjoy someone challenging my conclusions and educational debate.
