2400 is my favorite for .357 and .43 Magnums, but I haven't seen any for sale in ages and I'm virtually out. I have a little H110 but it binds my Lee powder meter so badly that I typically weigh every charge, making it better for special occasions only. I stopped in at Sportsman's Warehouse a couple of days ago and they had some 300MP, so I bought a pound (almost 45 bucks, which seems a bit steep, but...) TBH, one of the things I like about 2400 is the dramatic fireball, which is why I shelled out for the 300 MP even though I have an unopened pound of Enforcer, which I expect to have less flash.

Might get around to loading a few rounds in a week or two. Any thoughts or tips?

My 40+ year old RCBS Uniflow meters W-296/H-110 just fine. Ditto with 300MP, which appears to be a slightly slower burning version of W-296/H-110. If your measure doesn’t handle W-296/H-110, I would be shocked if 300MP had different results. All three do provide dramatic flash and blast, if that is your goal. If you want 90% of their performance with 50% of the cost, consider Power Pistol. It might meter better in your measure as well.

Alliant seems the most expensive currently and your enforcer is about 10 dollars a pound cheaper... I really like blue dot 10.6 with a cast 158 if your trying to get away from ball powders.

If your having problems with the W296/H110 binding in your dispenser I would find one that does not, or find a fix for it. There are several powders that are fine like the W296/H110, so you are cutting out some good powder options.
@Buck13 , which Lee powder measure are you using? I have a Lee Pro Auto-Disk and it meters all fine ball powders just fine.
I have a Lee Perfect. I like the adjustment mechanism.

H110 seems to be exactly the right size to bind the drum, so I need two hands to work it and I'm afraid a case is going to pop out of my hand when it's also needed to grip the meter and spray powder all over. Haven't had much trouble with other fine-grained powders like the AA# family, IIRC.

If 300MP is very similar to H110, I suppose I'll have the same problem with it.
